Foot Bars with Frame Brackets, U-bolts, and Nuts.

All sizes come in either Strong or Light versions of 1.25” pipe with an OD of 1.66”

Strong pipe is double the strength of any other same size welded or bolt together frame on the market due to the use of 7075 T6 aluminum, the same material used in the wing structure of airplanes!

Light pipe is the same strength as other 6061 T6 tubing, but at only half the weight.

Now you can make a frame with strong tubes where you need them, and light tubes where you don’t. This foot bar is available only in 1.25” tubing. It can be bought with frame brackets for either 1.25” or 1.5” schedule 40 pipe frames.

Foot Bars are annealed, bent, heat treated to return full strength, and then painted.

Footbars come standard in two widths. Wide has a 30” flat section for your feet, and narrow has a 20” flat section. If neither of these widths work for you, we can do custom as well.

Wide footbars are suitable for 16-20” tube boats with a center to center width of 55” or greater, or 21-24” tube boats with a center to center width of 57” or larger.

Narrow footbars are suitable for smaller boats, all the way down to 9’ long like the Hyside Mini-Me, or for any frame up to 64” wide.

Max Torque for the flange nuts is 15ft-lb or 20Nm.
